Cornwall Tours with Cornish Heritage Safaris

Our video, including some of the places we visit, is now available on YouTube. And our reviews on TripAdvisor are pretty good too.

We have designed tours around various aspects of Cornwall's rich heritage, encompassing romantic legends and local history, all situated in Cornwall's beautiful scenery. We mainly provide private tours but sharing may also be possible. Day's out can be all-inclusive or pay-as-you-go for entry and snacks. So take your pick from the tours below — or we'll be happy to create a special tour just for you at no extra charge.

Cornwall Art Tours

There is inspiration everywhere in Cornwall. This very exciting new tour combines practical art tuition in stunning locations with visits to art galleries and beautiful places. It doesn’t matter at all what level you are at. It’s time to seize the moment and to relish the opportunity to be inspired and to create your own art here in Cornwall. Please contact us for more information.

King Arthur's Footsteps Tour

Who was King Arthur? The "once and future king" seems to be waiting to return, held in Cornwall's landscape. Our tour starts outside St Materiana’s church, perched high on the cliff, and includes a morning at Tintagel Castle before lunch, followed by visits to other locations central to the Arthurian story.

Bodmin Moor: Mysteries, Monuments and Murder Tour
We explore some of our favourite places on the moor, natural and man-made, ancient and marvellous. The mood of the moor can be dark yet inspirational. The geology of the area has contributed to award-winning wine, so while we are here, why not try some?

The Far West Tour
Travel to the extreme end of Cornwall where we are spoilt for choice of things to see and places to visit. This tour has grown-up by popular demand and includes the iconic St Michael's Mount, numerous ancient monuments and dramtic ruined tin-mines perched on the amazing coastline. We adapt the tour for the groups interest and walking abilities.

Doc Martin Tour
We are fans too and love an excuse to visit Port Isaac! Nearly all the exterior scenes are filmed here, or 'next door' in Port Gaverne. It's great fun spotting the residential locations and Mrs Tishell's chemist is the local sweet shop! The tour need only take a half-day. For a full day we can add on other locations, maybe a taste of Bodmin Moor. The Doc often travels across the moor on his way to the latest drama. This could include a visit to the pub where baby James was born.

Bicycles, Betjeman and Beer Tour
This is a fun day out, with some exercise, some poetry and some beer — and some beautiful scenery en route. Learn more about what inspired John Betjeman, and visit his final resting place.

Alternative Tintagel Tour
We love King Arthur, but Tintagel has so much more to offer. On this tour we explore a 600-year-old building, visit a site of Cornwall's industrial heritage, and discover some spiritual signs carved both by nature and by man, all within an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Eden Project and Ancient Projects Tour
Visit one of Cornwall's most popular attractions, the amazing Eden Project, home of three biomes and much more. Then in the afternoon let us take you away from the crowds to some hidden treasures and grand projects from the past.
