In response to customer requests I have developed some tours outside of Cornwall. This can comprise a day or two visiting places as part of a route into Cornwall. Once we have crossed the Tamar (Cornwall’s border with the rest of the United Kingdom), a few days touring with me in the county will convince you why it’s such a special place.

Transfers

I travel to the airports at London Heathrow and London Gatwick and the cruise ship terminal at Southampton to meet and collect people for tours heading into Cornwall. I can also meet you in Bristol, Bath, Exeter etc. Private transfers from the airport or a cruise terminal can be a very relaxing way to travel and enjoy England.

On the way to Cornwall their are a number of exciting options to stop and visit either as a day tour or an overnight stop.

Stops

I have developed tours that stop at Glastonbury, Avebury, Stonehenge, Bath, Salisbury, Lyme Regis etc. But this is not possible to do all on the same day!

Dartmoor and Exmoor are also great places to visit on the way to Cornwall. Both have beautiful landscapes, lovely pubs and ancient monuments. We can see historic and unique National Trust properties, such as Buckland Abbey. This was the sometime residence of Sir Francis Drake. Strangely, there are a few connections between him and King Arthur.

I am also developing a tour of Wales.

Depending on your requirements I can suggest and arrange accommodation and itineraries. We can travel back via a different route, seeing alternative places, or there are options to fly or catch the train.
